My March Favourites

Excuse the cliche of pointing just out how quickly the past month has gone... but as if it's April already, how is that possible!? Thankfully it is finally starting to feel more spring like (now that storm Katie has passed- I love that name, just sayin'), I can feel summer is on it's way!

I have tried a few new things this month, along with the usual tried and tested. Having travelled a lot recently I have really cut down on the amount of products I pack, reaching just for those few essentials that I know will last well on my skin and keep me feeling a little more 'me'. In this roundup it's clear the idea of Spring has had its influence!

Chanel 'Poudre Universelle Compacte'/Natural finish pressed powder - I ran out of my usual Rimmel Clear Collection powder and had a sudden urge to try something different. Strangely it just wasn't cutting it this month, my oily patches coming through. However this powder is dreamy! For one, its the most beautiful packaging ever, and two, it keeps my makeup in place all day. What more could you want!?

Lancôme Juicy Shaker- The product that every blogger out there is talking about, but I honestly love this stuff. I treated myself during a trip to Selfridges at the beginning of the month when I went to see The 1975 and I have worn it every day since. Rather oily in texture, it doesn't last long but is so so moisturising and perfect for every day. I have the shade 'Berry Tale'- review to come soon.

Topshop Nice 'N' Neutral- I have recently grown my nails (finally, so gross), so I had been looking for a neutral varnish that doesn't highlight my nails, especially as they're still not looking 'normal'. I use a Sally Hansen nail strengthener as a base and top coat and this lasts all week, sometimes two depending on what I am doing. I don't think i'll ever use another colour!

Estée Lauder Double Wear (1N2 ECRU)- I once tried Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation ( I caved to the hype) and this has just heightened my love for Double Wear.. The Magic foundation really didn't suit my skin unfortunately, no longevity. I found it beautiful for an hour or so, so maybe for a meal out it would be nice, but after that my oily skin comes out to play. Double Wear without a doubt will look the same in the evening as it did in the morning- the same matt, flawless finish. Dreams.

Finally, The White Company Lime & Bay candle- A fairly subtle scent, but perfect for my bedside table. The White Company describe this as 'stepping into a colourful tropical garden' and strangely I think that is a perfect description.

What are your favourites this month? I'm looking forward to a warmer April, as well as a trip to Boston at the end with work!
