How to bake melting snowmen Christmas cookies, good enough to Pinterest!
Baking season is in full force. Chocolate is upon us.
Add in some Terry's chocolate orange, a cookie and pop a melting snowman on top and you have the most festive party treats.
Taken from the idea power house called Pinterest, the weekend was for baking these cute little melting snowmen. So easy, so quick, and perfect for friends & family. See recipe below!
Ingredients for cookies:
125g Butter, softened
100g Light Brown Sugar
125g Caster Sugar
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1tsp Vanilla Extract
225g Self Raising Flour
200g Terry's Chocolate Orange
100g Light Brown Sugar
125g Caster Sugar
1 Egg, lightly beaten
1tsp Vanilla Extract
225g Self Raising Flour
200g Terry's Chocolate Orange
Ingredients for decoration:
225g Icing Sugar
2 drops Vanilla Extract
2-3tbsp Hot Water
Marshmallows
Icing pens
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180
2. Cream the butter & sugars, once combined add the egg & vanilla
3. Sift in the flour, then add the Terry's chocolate orange
4. Roll into small balls & place on baking paper. Bake for 7-10 minutes (depending how gooey you want them to be)
5. Leave on a cooling rack to prepare your icing
6. Sift icing sugar into a bowl, add the vanilla
7. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the water
8. Decorate to your hearts content!
